Gorgets (pronounced Gor’ jet) were crescent shaped, decorated plates (often silver) worn at the throat in the American Revolutionary era. They were worn by officers to indicate rank, authority, and nobility. Oft times they were given as gifts to native chiefs to honor their position.

Though the last born of the FORT’S 2016 crias, Gorget (aka GG) ranks at the top! She has gorgeous luster, locks, fineness, and personality, as well.

GG has “decorated” our farm with even more beauty and her histogram and 2 yr. fleece wt. (7.2#) is above the 2018 National average!

Come see her for yourself!
