In search of freedom to worship God, the 102 pilgrims boarded the Mayflower to set sail to the New World. After 66 days at sea, these courageous people landed on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Relocating to Plymouth, they began building homes on Christmas Day 1620. Half of the Pilgrims lost their lives during the harsh winter conditions, but the remainder stayed the course and persevered with the aid of the Native Americans.
